What a pleasant surprise! This hidden gem was exactly what we needed on our city trip. The room was big enough for our family of four, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. We loved the fact that we could enjoy a private Onsen, and the public one was also clean and cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the get-go. To top it off, the food was outstanding, especially the fresh fish and the local vegetables.
The downside of this Ryokan is that it's quite far from the city center, so it's not the most convenient location; however, with a bit of planning, you can easily arrange transportation and enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the quiet mountains. The staff were welcoming and friendly, despite language barriers. The hotel facilities were great, especially the clean and cozy common area near the counter, where I could enjoy free tea and coffee. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, with beautiful grounds to explore. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent, and the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas was impeccable.
Nothing to complain about at all.

During my xmas stay, I enjoyed the beautiful grounds and spacious rooms of this quaint ryokan in the quiet mountains. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, offering us hot tea and coffee in the common area and explaining the specialties of each dish at mealtimes. Another advantage was the availability of private onsens, although we needed to shower first at the public ones. Also, the beds were surprisingly comfortable.
The location was a bit remote, and we had to take a 20-30 minute bus ride to get there. Additionally, there weren't any convenience stores nearby, which was a bit inconvenient. However, overall the experience was worth it for the lovely hospitality, delicious sukiyaki dinner, and comfortable accommodations.

Nestled deep in the mountains, the hotel offers a nice view of the natural surroundings. the lobby area has a heater who want to relax while sipping coffee or tea. the rooms are spacious and comfortable with thick mattresses for a good night's sleep. the staff are friendly and accommodating, speaking English just well enough.
The location is quite remote, making it a challenge to get to without a car.
